When, ten years ago, Tuscan designer Mirta Frosini decided to register and protect the design of BallsMania by Mirta Bijoux, she was not simply creating a jewelry line. The true technical and creative breakthrough lies in a brilliant intuition: the classic ball’s channel hole was completely reimagined. An international stage: when the spheres arrived at Downing Street

If the design captivates, it is the brand’s strong personality that has conquered the worlds of fashion and style beyond Italian borders, writing an incredible page of diplomacy… in color.

The true international breakthrough of the brand is linked to an unprecedented moment: on the day of her official appointment at Downing Street, former British Prime Minister Theresa May chose to wear a blue BallsMania necklace. In front of cameras and global media, that Tuscan design became the visual symbol of a memorable beginning.

But it was far from an isolated moment: from that day onward, throughout her political mandate and still today, Theresa May has continued to wear and choose our necklaces, confirming the brand’s international success and demonstrating how “balls” can become an iconic element of power dressing..

Among the most meaningful projects of this decade stands the Stop Violence collection, created to raise awareness and support the fight against violence against women, proving that an accessory can become the visible symbol of an urgent cultural battle.

Inclusivity and breaking down stereotypes found their fullest expression in the historic collaboration with Karma B. The duo of drag queens and LGBTQIA+ activists not only became the face of the brand — marking an editorial milestone as the first drag queens ever to appear in an Italian women’s magazine as ambassadors of a bijoux brand — but also created the KarmaBalls collection, launched during Pride to celebrate universal love.

A collaboration so authentic and profound that it went beyond fashion itself, transforming into a complete creative project and even reaching YouTube through an official song written and performed by Karma B exclusively for the brand: a soundtrack of pride, freedom and color signed by BallsMania.

Ten years of BallsMania also mean cultural dialogue and artistic contamination. Through the ArtBallsMania project, the brand opened its doors to artists and creatives who interpreted the world of spheres and the spirit of #donneconleballs, transforming jewelry into a canvas of contemporary art.
